That said, what are the main differences between the 2020 Toyota RAV4 LE vs. XLE? At the end of the day, it really comes down to what features are available.

How powerful is the 2020 Toyota RAV4?

At the heart of every 2020 Toyota RAV4 is a 203-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional and front-wheel drive is standard. The Adventure, LE, XLE and TRD Off-Road trims are the exception and both come standard with all-wheel drive.

In addition to having the same engine and powertrain, the 2020 Toyota RAV4 LE and XLE both come equipped with similar technologies. These include LED headlights, Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a USB port and a six-speaker sound system.

Moving up to the XLE model adds equipment that isn’t available on the LE trim. Standard equipment on the 2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE includes push-button start, keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, blind-spot monitoring, dual-zone automatic climate control and USB charging ports.
