Fuel Economy Scores for the 2020 Toyota Camry with AWD

The Toyota Camry is one of the most popular vehicles ever produced. From our point of view, it has led the industry in so many important ways. For the current model year, the automaker has announced that the popular Camry platform will be available with all-wheel-drive later in the sedan’s production cycle. This won’t be the first time that Toyota has equipped the midsize sedan with all-wheel-drive, but it has certainly been a minute since it was an available option. Our team has learned a lot about the latest version of the vehicle as well as the fuel economy scores for the 2020 Toyota Camry with AWD. Given the challenges we’re facing in the United States right now, we don’t know when it will arrive. But our team wanted to share the latest information we had available.

Which Camry versions offer all-wheel-drive?

One of the things that have been true of the Camry for a long time is that Toyota offers the vehicle in several trim grades so buyers can always find what they’re looking for. The manufacturer will offer the new all-wheel-drive system on the LE, SE, XLE and XSE models. All of them will have estimated fuel economy scores of 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway.

When the 2020 Toyota Camry with all-wheel-drive is finally available, it will only be equipped with one of the sedan’s engine options. As of right now, the available information from the automaker says that all AWD-equipped models of the 2020 Camry will have the 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Most versions will make 202 horsepower and the XSE will produce a little more topping out at 205 horsepower.

In addition to having all-wheel-drive added to the vehicle’s equipment list, all 2020 Camry models will continue to be outfitted with Toyota Safety Sense-P system. All models will offer the manufacturer’s Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Automatic High Beams.
